Hygge derives from a sixteenth century Norwegian term, hugga, meaning “to comfort” or “to console,” which is related to the English word “hug. It was adopted into Danish culture in late 18th century. It is equally hard to express in english words as it represents a “feeling” of coziness, togetherness with friends and family often with food, sweets, tea and candle lights. It can be used as a noun, adjective, or a verb. Enjoy the moment and make merry all year round at home, at work and in beautifully designed comfortable spaces. Hygge is pronounced like (Hoog-uh) Hygge is a feeling most often associated with time with family, best friends, delicious foods and warm cozy feelings. The smell of holiday cooking, meals together by candlelight, tea by a warm fire, cozy woollen knits, tasty spiced sweets. It is a feeling that can be embraced alone or with company, anywhere or anytime. Hygge Chai is an ode to all things super cozy and we infused it with Nordic herbals to keep well during the dark months of the year: Lots of Elderberry, digestive Angelica, adaptogenic Tulligunnak (Rhodiola)pair perfectly with lots Ginger, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Allspice to bring you warmth inside and out.

  • Organic house blend of black teas from Assam and Sri Lanka with adaptogenic Tulsi. Lots of Elderberry and Ginger to boost immunity. With ethically sourced spices and berries from around our globe.

  • Infuse 1 Tbsp. of Chai to 250 ml water at 100°C for 3 to 5 min, then enjoy or add your preference of sweet house-made vanilla bean syrup, honey or have deliciously neat to reduce sugar content.
