FOUR SEASONS OOLONG a delightfully oxidized, tightly rolled, everyday oolong tea that is harvested in spring & winter in Taiwan's central highlands. The "Si Ji Chun"cultivar has a golden-green, medium bodied infusion with a lovely floral, long-lasting aromatic complexity of refreshing floral, exotic blossoms and light tropical fruit. Grown at elevations of 400-500 meters above sea level in the Mingjian Village of Nantou, Taiwan.
Basic Brewing Guidelines:
Water Temperature: 90°C Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 teaspoon per 250 ml. Steep Time: 2 minutes (1st infusion), 3 minutes (2nd infusion), 5 minutes (3rd infusion)
Guywan Brewing Guidelines: Water Temperature: 90°C Leaf to Water Ratio: Fill 25% of a porcelain guywan with tea Steep Times: 1st infusion 1 minute, 2nd infusion 20 seconds, 3rd infusion 50 seconds, subsequent infusions about 2 minutes
